All packages between 500g – 2kg will be sent using Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded or Interlink Courier depending on package size.

Customers are also responsible for providing any information required by local customs to ensure goods are cleared. Customs charges vary from country to country, and Black&Blue1871 cannot advise how much they will be. EU VAT & Customs Duties
- Customs clearance charges and fees may be payable on items/goods (excluding personal correspondence) entering the destination country including the EU from the UK. These depend on the contents’ value.
- Items sent to the EU from England, Scotland and Wales are subject VAT and duties in the EU. The value of goods thresholds are detailed below
- Commercial items/goods (excluding personal correspondence) sent to the EU below €150 may be taxed at the border and may incur a customs clearance/handling fee in the receiving country.
- Commercial items/goods sent to the EU over €150 may attract VAT, customs duties and a clearance/handling fee
- The customs authorities in the destination country and the customs thresholds in place determine if charges are due on imported goods.
- The levels and thresholds of charges vary from country to country.
Occasionally goods may be subject to delays due to customs or weather.
Refunds & Exchanges
We hope you’re happy with your purchase, however occasionally you may need to return an item. We would also strongly advise that items are returned via trackable mail, such as Royal mail, First Class signed for, as we can’t accept responsibility for items until the are delivered back to us.
To return an item(s) firstly print the RETURNS FORM, complete it and return it with your invoice and goods to:

Please clearly state on the invoice the reason for the return and whether you require a refund or exchange. We are only able to exchange items for the same product.
If a full refund is required then the entire order needs to be returned back to us within fourteen (14) working days. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. If a refund is payable to you we will process the refund as soon as possible.
Customers will have 14 days from the date received to send an item back to us for a refund to be issued. There will be an additional 14 days, totalling 28, to send an item back to for an exchange on the same product code in different colour or size. This return policy is specific to online purchases only.
The item(s) should be returned unworn and unused in perfect condition, with tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or returned without their original labels may not be accepted and may be sent back to you.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, and notify you of the issue of your refund. The credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
